Chimaera at the Getty
Went to the Getty Villa on Wednesday and took the Drawing from Antiquity Class taught by Jaime Ursic. She seemed inspired by the "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" Methodology.
When did a lot of exercises.
Blind Contour Drawing (never look at the page while drawing).
Contour Drawing (never let the pen come off the paage).
Another Drawing. I like this one because there is a lot of energy here.

Central Library
I did this drawings at the Central Library in Downtown LA on 5th and Flower. I'm going to go there again and draw some time soon and see if I can do a little better.
Glenn's Last Class - Nov 14
I thought I was drawing like crap yesterday but now when I look at them again I don't think they are so bad. I think these were 3 minute poses. I bumped up the contrast in Photoshop this drawings are much lighter in reality. I'm ready to take a break from Glenn's classes. They classs was too big and Glenn hardly spoke to me over the 7 weeks. I was disappointed but maybe later I will realize I learned more than I thought I did. Right now I just feel like I've but a lot of time over the last 15 months into figure drawing and I have so far to go. I was I had started my blog but then so I could really look at last year's drawings.
November 7th - Trying to Find the Bean
A lot of this class was about trying to find the bean. I didn't do well. Glenn even told me I didn't get it - which made me kind of sad.
