Head Drawing

I went to Mark Schwartz's Saturday Head Drawing Class. I think I am getting a little better since the winter with Glen Orbik although I still have a long way to go.

This is my final piece for Saturday.
Mark was explaining to me how the light works on the eye. I think I understood. My eyes always tend to be flat.

Here are my quick sketches of the head. I always seem to have problems with them.

Head Drawing w/ Mark Schwartz

There was no cartooning today with Tom Shannon at the California Art Institute so I sit in Head Drawing with Mark Schwartz.
These are my 5 minute drawings. They need a lot of work. I am not good at this yet I need to work on it.
This is Mark's overlay on my drawing. I like the way he teaches. I learned a lot.

This is my drawing of Mahlo. I think it looks a lot like her. It's one of the best head drawings I remember doing. Ofcourse with out Mark's help it wouldn't be at this level.

Head Drawing

Glen was sick and Mark Schwartz was our head drawing teacher. I liked him a lot. Here are his corrections of my drawing. Here is my drawing.
