Anger - The Emotional Wisdom Deck

I made the preliminary painting for this ANGER card during the Transforming Emotions class led by Swami Sivasankariananda.  

I was in reaction to the murder of George Floyd. All I wanted to do was scream. I was so angry. In this self portrait I am yelling.

The painting is paired with the Maya Angelou quote, “Bitterness is like a cancer. It eats upon the host. But anger is like fire. It burns it all clean.”
