DARE (Developmental Activities in Rehabilitative Education) started on the 1st of November 1991 with 29 students. Over the last 18 years, this centre has worked on rehabilitating mentally and physically challenged children of plantation workers in Munnar. Right now, there are 51 children between 3 and 18 years of age with various disabilities at the Centre.

As part of our rehabilitation program, over the years, many of our children have successfully joined main stream schools. Others have been rehabilitated at Srishti itself (Aranya, Athulya, Strawberry Preserve Making Unit and the Garden)
