Mia at Cathy Karol's Class - inspiration Heinrich Kley

This is one of the images the Cathy Karol gave out for us to look at it tonight. It was drawn by Heinrich Kley.

Heinrich Kley (1863-1945) was a German artist who gained fame in the United States when Coronet Magazine published his drawings in 1937. His work inspired the creators of Fantasia.

"Lady Dancing with Aligator"

Below are drawings I made with pen and ink at Cathy's class inspired by the linework of Heinrich Kley.

Something about the proportions of this first one makes her look like a child not an adult.

I'm not sure about the shoulder blade.

Her legs don't seem attached.
